See Hula on Maui for Free
A visit or a stay in beautiful Lahaina, Maui, is an unforgettable experience in itself. The sun is almost always shining. The beaches often present choices between boogie board waves, surf breaks, and glassy snorkel spots for miles. The sunsets are epic. There’s pie. (A stop at Leoda’s is often in order.)
Sometimes, however, when visiting Maui, you want to encounter more of the rich Hawaiian culture. One way to dip a toe into the deep waters of this ancient land and its people is to see a hula performance. Hula has been called “Hawai’i’s gift to the world.” And the Lahaina Cannery Mall offers free hula shows every Sunday at 1 p.m. on the stage.
